ITSO hosts Design Thinking webinar

The Innovation and Technology Support Office (ITSO) hosted a Design Thinking webinar for Adamson U faculty and co-academic staff last June 23.
The webinar featured trainings focused on design framework, prototype creation, understanding the consumer market, development of innovation ideas, and design research planning and utilization.
“The objective of this activity is to orient our Design and Research faculty members on the concept and framework of Design Thinking which they can eventually incorporate into their teaching methodologies in the delivery of their courses,” the event’s invitation said.
Engr. Alvin Villegas an innovation leader and President and co-founder of Keri Delivery was the resource speaker in the online event attended by 30 participants — 16 from the University’s eight Engineering programs, six from the IT/IS programs of the College of Science, three from the College of Pharmacy, and five from ITSO.
Villegas is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Certified Lean Engagement Manager, Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Trained Philippine Quality Award Assessor, and Certified Professional Industrial Engineer, and also works as General Manager for Six Sigma BELT Guru, Inc., and Core Enabler Business Process Solutions, Inc.
The said webinar was streamed via Google Meets and Zoom.
