Jeremy Guarino emerged as the hero for the Baby Falcons as he punched a booming triple that secured a Final Four ticket for Adamson in the UAAP 82 Boys Basketball Tournament.

The Baby Falcons won a squeaker over the Ateneo Blue Eaglets, 79-76, February 5, at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

The boys from San Marcelino squandered their lead late in the dying minutes of the fourth canto before escaping with a three-point win.

MVP candidate Jake Figueroa towed the Baby Falcons with a monster game, tallying 26 points, 21 rebounds, two steals, and two blocks. Guarino ended up with 18 points, five boards, four dimes, and two steals.

The boys from San Marcelino ended the elimination round tied with the Eaglets with a 8-6 record although Ateneo holds a higher quotient.
