Lady Falcons upset UST with Dampios trey

Rose Ann Dampios led a furious endgame run by the Lady Falcons as they stun perennial contenders, University of Santo Tomas, 88-86, in the most recent installment of the UAAP Season 82 Women’s Basketball tournament, Wednesday at the UST Quadricentennial Pavillion.
Dampios was dialed in from beyoned the arc, scoring 18 of her game-high 26 markers from distance including the go ahead triple which game them their third victory in four outings.
Adamson was down by as much as 16 points but eventually came back through the efforts of Dampios and the trio of Mar Prado, Kat Araja and Gerl Anticamara who tallied 18, 16 and 15 points.
The Lady Falcons seek for their fourth win against the De La Salle Lady Archers on Saturday at the Ynares Centre in Antipolo.
