Adamson dominates UP in Women’s Basketball

The Adamson cagebelles tallied its first winning streak this season after dispatching UP, 100-74, in the UAAP Season 82 Women’s Basketball tournament last September 15 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.
Rookie Novie Ornopia led the Lady Falcons 23 points, seven rebounds, two steals, and a block as she complemented main gunner Mar Prado, who filled the stats sheet 20 markers, nine boards, seven dimes, six steals, and a block.
The victory puts the Lady Falcons at a triple-tie with UST and FEU for second place. NU still dominates the tournament with an 84-game winning streak.
Adamson will next play the UST Growling Tigresses who will enjoy home-court advantage as the game will be played at the UST Quadricentennial Pavillion on September 18.
