Falcons down NU to secure Filoil No.2 seed

The Falcons clinched the second seed in Group B of the 2019 Filoil Flying V Preseason Cup after a 70-61 defeat of the National University Bulldogs last June 14.
Congolese slotman anchored Adamson with a 17-point, 24-rebound showing, picking up the slack from struggling gunner Jerrick Ahanmisi who scored 11 points with a 1-of-7 shooting clip.
Also providing spark are team captain Simon Camacho, Khristian Bernando, Jerom Lastimosa and former Baby Falcon Joem Sabandal who all chipped in 8 markers.
With the win, the Falcons are set to face the San Sebastian College- Recoletos Golden Stags in the quarterfinals.
