Falcons bag third straight win in rout of JRU

The Falcons soared high as they pounded on lowly Jose Rizal University (JRU) Heavy Bombers, 70-52, in the Filoil Flying V Preseason Cup held at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan yesterday.
Adamson broke out in the second quarter after an 11-all deadlock and outscored the Heavy Bombers, 23-9.
The game became a one-sided match as the Falcons cruised through the third and final canto on their way to their third straight win, and fourth in five games.
Papi Sarr anchored the Falcons with a 15 point-10 rebound double-double while team captain Simon Camacho filled the stat sheet with 12 points, four boards, three steals and two blocks.
The Falcons will next face the Far Eastern University Tamaraws on June 3.
