Fermin soars high in Adamson win vs EAC

Falcons’ rookie Aaron Fermin showed flashes of brilliance in his collegiate debut as he led the Adamson Falcons to a rousing victory over the Emilio Aguianldo College (EAC) Generals, 89-65, in the Filoil Flying V Preseason Cup at the Filoil Flying V Center in San Juan last May 7.
The former Arellano University Baby Chief logged 21 points and 5 rebounds while mainstay Jerrick Ahanmisi added 17 markers with a 3 of 5 clip from beyond the arc.
EAC had the upper hand in the early goings of the game but was halted when the Falcons held them to just eight points in the second canto to take a 43-27 lead at the half.
The Falcons then uncorked a 28-point third quarter to ice the game.
Adamson will next face last season’s NCAA runners-up Lyceum Pirates.
