AdU welcomes 10 new Vincentian Lawyers

Ten new names were added to the long list of Vincentian Lawyers after the results of the November 2018 Bar Exams were released by the Supreme Court last May 3.
Now Attorneys Caesar Leocadio Acebedo, Lew Daniel Agdeppa, Ericson Dela Cruz, Datumama Fernandez Jr., Marvis Ervin Francisco, Olivette Gabito , Precilla Matencio, Eden Prado, Eleazar Rabanes , Arjane Samaniego bannered the university, with the national passing rate sliding to 22.07 percent, or 1,800 out of 8,155 this year from last year’s 25.55 percent or 1,724 out of 6,750 examinees.
The Supreme Court also noted that the total number of examinees this year is the highest in recent years.
Ateneo de Manila University (AdMU) product Sean James Borja topped the exams with a 89.306 percent rating. The Top 10 passers, meanwhile were dominated by AdMu, University of San Carlos, University of the Philippines and De La Salle University – Manila.
The Bar Examinations, held at the University of Santo Tomas, is the only professional examination not held under the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). It was held on all Sundays this November 2018.
The said exam is under the Supreme Court which oversees it including its coverage, popularly categorized into numerous ‘bar’ subjects: Political Law and Public International Law, Labor and Social Legislation, Civil Law, Taxation, Mercantile Law, Criminal Law, Remedial law and Legal and Judicial Ethics.
