Budding artist mounts first solo exhibit

Butterflies graced the walls of the Adamson University Art Gallery as the university opened artist Janet Arboleda-Ballecer’s first solo exhibit last April 30.
The exhibit titled Hope for the Flowers features Ballecer’s artworks, mostly highlighting the astounding beauty of butterflies and nature.
The ribbon cutting ceremony was led by Atty. Elba Cruz, former head of the Development Academy of the Philippines; IDEA and Museum and Archives Director Mr. Raul Agner; KUNST Pilipino and Grupo Sining Batangueno (GSB) Marketing Director and Project Coordinator Mr. Bill Perez; and the event’s speakers, Mr. Lino Acasio, Founder and Chairman Emeritus of GSB and Atty. Sylvia Marasigan, Head of Batangas Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affairs office.
The exhibit runs until May 31.
