Two AdU students bound for Japan

Two Adamson students taking up BSBA Operations Management are bound for Tokyo, Japan under the Adamson University and Teikyo University Student Exchange Scholarship Program. John Peter M. Sumatra and Dara Lorraine I. Botor are the third set of two scholars who will continue their studies at Teikyo University. They signed a MOA with Adamson at the President’s Office Conference Room last March 6, 2019 after being selected out of more than ninety applicants for the two slots.
Sumatra and Botor were accompanied by their parents. Present during the signing were Fr. Marcelo V. Manimtim, CM, university president; Fr. Andrew S. Bayal, CM, VP for Student Affairs; Dr. Brigida M. Octavio, dean of the College of Business Administration; Dr. Daisy H. Estrada, chairperson of the Management and Marketing Department; Sr. Maruja S. Padre Juan, MSCS, director of the Office for University Relations; and Mr. Richmond Yap, director of the Center for Guidance, Counseling, Placement, and Testing Services Office.
Teikyo University and Adamson signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Student Exchange back in July 2016. The first batch of two students was sent in 2017 and the second one in 2018.
