AdU alumni is new NROTC commandant

LCDR Reimon Retaga of the Philippine Navy is the newly appointed commandant of the 246th Naval ROTC Unit of Adamson University. Since assuming his new responsibility in January 2019, he has been overseeing the smooth operation of the university’s ROTC program.

Retaga graduated from Adamson in 2000 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. As a student, he was an active officer of the NROTC and in fact took up Advanced ROTC training. After graduation, he became a commissioned officer of the Philippine Navy in 2003. At present, he is the director of the Naval Reserve Management Fiscal Office at the Naval Reserve Command in Intramuros, Manila.
