Law librarian gets post in national professional organization

Ms. Vivian A. Lirio, RL, librarian of the College of Law library, was elected Vice President of the Philippine Group of Law Librarians, Inc. (PGLL) for 2019-2020.
The officers are Milagros Ong, retired director, Supreme Court Library – President; Vivian A. Lirio, Adamson University – vice president; Alvin Halcon, Lyceum of the Philippines University – secretary; Luisa Madlangbayan, Supreme Court Library – treasurer; Joanne Camante, San Beda University (Manila) – auditor; Jeremy Flores, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas – PRO; Mark Ryan Betia, GSIS Legal Division; Bernice Mangabat, Polytechnic University of the Philippines; and Emma Rey, Retired Executive Director, House of Representatives, Congressional Library Bureau as board of directors; and Nora Rey, V & A Law Office – adviser.
The PGLL is an organization that works for the interest of law libraries and librarians and aims to maintain the highest standards in the profession of law librarianship. Endeavors include holding seminars and congresses, fellowships and scholarships, and spearheading legal documentation and research.
