Pumaren signs new contract with Adamson

Adamson Soaring Falcons men’s basketball team head coach Franz Pumaren signed a new contract with the university at the President’s Office last January 29, 2019. Signing for the university was Fr. Marcelo V. Manimtim, CM, president. On hand to witness the signing were Fr. Andrew S. Bayal, CM, VP for Student Affairs and Fr. Aldrin R. Suan, CM, director of the Office for Athletics and Recreation. Frs. Suan and Bayal are also members of the UAAP Board of Managing Directors.
Joining Pumaren as assistant coaches are Tonichi Yturri, Don Allado, Jack Santiago, Renren Ritualo, Joe Ward and Raul Lacson.
From the time he first signed a three-year contract in 2016 to coach the Soaring Falcons, Franz has steered the team to three consecutive Final Four finishes and was on the brink of earning a Finals slot last UAAP season.
