OUR holds 2018 Presidential Football Cup

The Office for University Relations (OUR), through its director Sr. Maruja S. Padre Juan, MSCS, spearheaded the holding of the 2018 Presidential Football Cup at the SV Gym 2 last October 17, 2018. 

The Abiola FC emerged as this year’s champion. Fusions was the 1st Runner-up and South Elite was the 2nd Runner-up. Garnering individual awards were Mr. Bethesda Owuama-Njoku of Abiola FC – Most Valuable Player; Mr. Kim Philip Bardaje of South Elite– Golden Boot or Top Goal Scorer; Mr. Julian Hkun Phone of Fusions– Golden Glove or Best Goal Keeper; Mr. Emmanuel Sunday Olerede of Abiola FC – Best Midfielder; and Mr. Bethesda Owuama-Njoku – Best Defender. 

The Technical Committee was composed of Mr. Ramon Manuel – Coordinator; Mr. Ariel Serrantes – Assistant Coordinator; Mr. Michael Barajas, Mr. Romeo Sorio, Mr. Wilfredo Barajas, Jr., Mr. Jan Dlanor Initan, and Mr. Rodrigo Yambao – Referees. 

Now on it's 5th year, the annual football event is under the auspices of the Office of the University President, in collaboration with the Philippine Football Federation, Teen Azkals Football Foundation, Kaya Football Club, and the Philippine Football League. It is primarily a tournament among teams composed mostly of the international students of Adamson. This year, the teams included female players.
