The Guidance, Counseling, Testing and Placement Office conducted the usual career preparatory activity for graduating students across all courses at the Adamson University Theater last September 18, 2018. The 700 attendees are candidates for graduation in the upcoming Mid-year Commencement Exercises of the university come January 2019.

The activity was a Career Development Seminar focusing on new trends in job application procedures including creating a digital resume, online job application, job interviews and personality development related to employment.

In his opening remarks, Guidance director Mr. Richmond S. Yap gave emphasis on developing personal values towards work and right career planning for student’s success, which reflects the image of the university to the industry. Mr. Kim Chua, the manager of Jobs180.com, was the main speaker whose energetic talk kept the students attentive and informed.

The activity is expected to give a higher level of self-confidence among the graduating students in reaching their goals of finding employment, which will be put to good use when they participate in the Job Fair that will be held at the ST Quad on November 8, 2018.
