AdU management and AUFEA sign MOA for 2018 CBA

The management of Adamson University and the Adamson University Faculty and Employees Association, Inc. (AUFEA) signed a Memorandum of Agreement resulting from the 2018 CBA Renegotiation last June 8, 2018. The signing of the MOA, which covers the period from June 1, 2018 to July 31, 2020, took place after a series of meetings in the past few months between the CBA Management Panel and the CBA Union Panel. The economic provisions of the existing CBA expired on May 31, 2018.
The two parties came up with several agreements.
Signing the MOA for the Management Panel were Fr. Marcelo V. Manimtim, CM, AdU President; Fr. Rafael K. Eloriaga, CM, VP Finance; Atty. Agnes Rivera, Chairman, Management Panel; Mr. Apolinario Carangal, member; Ms. Marilou Escanilla, member, Ms. Grace Rapsing, member, Dr. Gliceria Lunag, member, Ms. Aurea Suzara, alternate member. They were assisted by Atty Pablo Cruz, University Legal Counsel.
Signing for the Union Panel were Prof. Jose Cericel Driz, AUFEA President and Union Panel Chairman; Prof. Hubert Temprosa, Co-Chairman, Union Panel; Prof. Irene Ignacio, member; Prof. Elisa Casquejo, member; Ms. Ma. Thelma Gutierrez, member; Mr. Michael Abando, member; Prof. Renz Patrick Santos, member; Ms. Consolacion Sotto, member; and Ms. Ellen Tejada, member. They were assisted by attested by Atty Noel Neri, AUFEA Legal Counsel and Mr. Juanito Salvo, AUFEA Technical Consultant.
The items agreed upon were embodied in the new Collective Bargaining Agreement manual signed on July 19, 2018 after review by the two parties.
