AdU athletes harvest medals in athletics competition

Athletes from Adamson University brought home a total of four gold, seven silver and four bronze medals in different events during the Ayala Philippine Athletics Championship held at the Ilagan Sports Complex in Ilagan, Isabela last May 31-June 4, 2018. 

Ronald Corot, the long-time coach of the AdU athletics team mentored and helped them attain remarkable results; he provided the names of the winners.

Athletes who won gold medals were: 
- Raziebel Fabellon for the women’s High Jump
- Jeric Gaceta, Christian Olivares, Elias Ruther Cuevas, and Alex Talledo for the men’s 4x100 Relay
- Jeric Gaceta, Elias Ruther Cuevas, Joanna Ebal and Ma. Lorenza for the 4x100 Mixed Relay
- Alex Talledo, Jeric Gaceta, Raziebel Fabellon and Ria Judyawon for the 4x400 Mixed Relay

Athletes who got a silver medal were:
- Rovel Panes for the 20,000-meter men’s Walkathon
- Diana Jaspher Cadlaon for the 10,000-meter women’s Walkathon
- Albert Callejo for the men’s High Jump
- Raziebel Fabellon for the women’s Triple High Jump
- Daniel Angelo Rambacal for the juniors’ Hammer Throw
- Jeric Gaceta, Christian Olivares, Elias Ruther Cuevas and Alex Talledo for the 4x400 men’s Relay
- Ma. Lorenza Esperanza, Diana Jaspher Cadlaon, Raziebel Fabellon, and Ria Judyawon for the 4 x 400 women’s Relay.

Earning the bronze medal were:
- Ma. Lorenza Esguerra for the women’s 400-meter Dash
- Joanna Ebal for the women’s Long Jump
- Joanna Ebal for the women’s Triple Jump
- Ma. Lorenza Esguerra. Janna Ebal, Raziebel Fabellon, and Ria Judyawon for the 4x100 women’s Relay
