Adamson University to implement change in Academic Calendar

Adamson University president Fr. Marcelo V. Manimtim, CM has announced the approval by the University Administration of the change in the Academic Calendar. In a memo dated March 8, 2018, Fr. Manimtim said that beginning school year 2018-2019, the traditional opening of classes in the month of June shall now be moved to August and will officially end in the month of May. However, the university shall continue to maintain the bi-semestral setup for each academic year.
In the case of Basic Education Department and the Senior High School, classes will start on the first week of July 2018.
Implementing guidelines for this change will follow.
The move is in response to new initiatives brought about by the changing landscape in the country’s higher education today, particularly the ASEAN integration.
