Adamson University ties up with Zhengzhou University

Adamson University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Zhengzhou University at the Accreditation Room last February 7, 2018. The MOU provides for the sending of five scholars from AdU’s Chemical Engineering Department and College of Pharmacy to Zhengzhou for doctoral degrees.
The memorandum signing was attended by Dr. Frank Wang, Zhengzhou University’s Director for Liaison Affairs, and Professor Su Guoying, Director for Admission Office; Adamson University was represented by Dr. Catherine Castañeda, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Engr. Erison Roque, chairperson of Chemical Engineering department and Ms. Hazel Anne Catublas, officer-in-charge of the College of Pharmacy.
Zhengzhou University – one of the biggest universities in China – will grant the Silk Road Scholarship to qualified applicants from Adamson University. This research- based doctoral scholarship was offered by Zhengzhou University to three different universities in the Philippines, namely, Lyceum of the Philippines-Batangas, Angeles University Foundation, and Adamson University. Adamson was chosen for its excellent engineering programs.
The signatories also agreed to execute a formal Memorandum of Agreement soon pertaining to the field of academic research.
