Chinese provincial officials meet with OUR

The Office for University Relations (OUR), under the auspices of the Office of the President, received some Chinese officials from the Province of Henan Sheng Pingdingshan on February 6, 2018.
The officials, led by the Provincial Admission Principal, Dr. Lizin Shan, said that their interest is to find colleges in other countries where Chinese students may be interested to enroll after finishing secondary school. In their province, some 860,000 high school students graduate every year and a good number of them consider taking college education overseas.
OUR director, Sr. Maruja S. Padre Juan, MSCS, engaged them in a discussion on the Chinese students enrolled at Adamson University. Further, she discussed the university’s academic achievements, its international network, as well as its services and assistance to international students.
Finally, impressed by the institutional mission and vision of Adamson University, derived from the life and examples of its Patron, St. Vincent de Paul, Mr. Zhanzi Ying, president of Beijing Jintong Chance Agency, requested the OUR for a copy of a book on the life of the saint. He shared that St. Vincent de Paul is widely known in the Province of Henan Sheng Pingdingshan.
