AdU volleyball teams ready for UAAP Season 80 games

The Adamson University Soaring Falcons volleyball teams will once again compete as the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 80 officially opens its volleyball tournament on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Headed by coach Airess Padda together with her assistant coaches Cherry Macatangay, Rogelio Getigan, and former volleyball star Angeli Tabaquero, the Lady Falcons will battle with the National University Lady Bulldogs at 2:00 pm. This year’s roster of Lady Falcons – led by their team captain, Physical Education major Mylene Paat – includes Mary Joy Dacoron, Fenela Risha Emnas, Bernadette Flora, Jessica Galanza, Lea-ann Perez, Chiara May Permentilla, Ceasa Joria Pinar, Tonnie Rose Ponce, May Jeannalyn Roque, Jellie Tempiatura, and Chrislyn Uy.
On the other hand, the Soaring Falcons men’s volleyball team will be led by veteran head coach Domingo Custodio along with assistant coaches Daniel Miranda and Michael Sudaria who was last season’s team captain. The Soaring Falcons will open the tournament as they face the National University Bulldogs at 8:00 am.
This year, team captain John Philip Yude, a Hospitality Management major, will see action along with teammates Mark Angelo Alvarez, Lenard Frans Amburgo, Royce Bello, Ramses Paulo Bondoc, Carlo Jimenez, Krister Edward Manlapaz, Rence Melgar, Ryan-thed Millared, Leo Miranda, John Philip Nuguid, and Paolo Pablico.
