Adamson professors qualify for Tech 101 training

 Two faculty members of Adamson University successfully qualified to undergo the innovation and technopreneurship facilitation training of the Commission on Higher Education as a part of the establishment of Technopreneurship as a general education required course starting this 2018.

Dr. Merlina Palencia, Chief Operating Officer of the Vigormin Project, and Engr. Jasper Meynard Araña qualified as the representative of Adamson University in Technopreneurship 101. This training is the first step in the incorporation of Technopreneurship Hubs or TechHub in the future academic curricula which aims to train engineering faculty members in order for them to further support innovation and technology transfer, and teach the technopreneurship subject effectively. 

During the course of the training, the participants will be taught how to create successful innovation through Lean Startup and Customer Development approach. They will also be able to develop effective innovation skillsets such as Innovation Laboratory, Industry and Market feedback, and an efficient and outcomes-based learning, as well as learn the best global practices.
