AdU-CpE students win 3rd place in 2017 ICpEP National Quizbowl

Adamson University Computer Engineering students won 3rd place in the 2nd National CpE Challenge-Quizbowl 2017 held last November 22, 2017 at Casablanca Hotel, Legazpi City, Albay. Team NCR-Adamson, consisting of Michelle Joy Gallenero, Dylan Josh Lopez, and Martin Leonard Sarte, with their coach Engr. Yolanda Austria, bagged the award out of 16 participating institutions nationwide, bringing glory to Adamson University.

The 2nd National Computer Engineering Challenge was hosted by the Institute of Computer Engineers of the Philippines (ICpEP). This year’s challenge included an array of competitions, not just the battle of the brains, but also hardware and software skills contests. The latter included Programming, Logic Circuits Breadboarding, and the Quizbowl categories. Each ICpEP Regional Chapter nationwide sent their best teams to compete in each category.

Each team participating in the CpE Challenge categories are the winners of their respective Regional CpE Challenge. NCR-Adamson won 2nd place in the Regional competition held at the Technological Institute of the Philippines, Quezon City. Adamson University and De La Salle University represented NCR in the ICpEP National Quiz Bowl category.
