Adamson University’s high standard of Pharmacy education came to the fore when the Professional Regulation Commission, through Commission Resolution No. 2010-547 s. 2010, named the university as one of the top performing schools in the August 2017 Pharmacist Licensure Examination. The ranking was based on the criteria of 50 or more examinees and with at least 80% passing percentage. Adamson was ranked 4 among the five schools that included Saint Louis University (1st), University of Santo Tomas (2nd), University of San Carlos (3rd), and San Pedro College (5th).

A total of 53 examinees from Adamson took the exam, 46 of which successfully made it, thus garnering a passing percentage of 86.79%.

The Board of Pharmacy administered the exam in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga; the board was composed of Ms. Adelina C. Royo, chairman; Dr. Mildred B. Oliveros and Mr. Anthony Aldrin C. Santiago, members.

The AdU community expresses its congratulations to the College of Pharmacy, which under the leadership of Dean Perlita Crucis, made this remarkable performance possible.
