Course Description The student works with an assigned adviser who guides him in the preparation of his thesis or research proposal. The required output is the first three (3) chapters of the research, including the data gathering instrument. The output of this seminar is formally presented to a research panel in a forum called thesis proposal defense wherein approval of the panel is sought.

Course Description Required for graduation, the output is a thesis by the candidate on any subject in his specialty, and approved by the College. The treatise must involve research, analysis, evaluation, and judgment. It must offer some positive knowledge in education, science, history, art, government, economics, human relations, culture in general, etc. for the benefit and welfare of men. In particular it must contribute to the solution of problems in education or other fields. Candidate must successfully defend it in a public oral examination before a panel of examiners, at a date arranged by the Dean. (applies to all masters programs with thesis requirement)

Course Description This course deals with the life, spirituality, mission and the legacy of St. Vincent de Paul, Patron Saint of Adamson University, and the family of collaborators and groups that were either founded by him or draw their inspiration from him: groups who, out of a sense of shared humanity, compassion and love for God, are working for and with suffering human beings who are mostly poor, abandoned, marginalized, oppressed, and powerless. Students find out who St. Vincent de Paul was, what his legacy was, why he is still relevant today, and what they can learn from his heritage that will create an impact in the world especially among the socially disadvantaged sectors.
