The SM Food Retail Group enters mini-mart retailing through a partnership with Alfamart. Known as one of Indonesia’s leading mini-market chain operators with more than 10,000 branches across the country, Alfamart’s success is in offering basic necessities and other last minute purchases to customers in an easily accessible and comfortable mini store set-up. With the addition of Alfamart, SM is
able to cater to new sets of consumers untapped by more conventional retail formats.

Alfamart offers basic groceries, select SM Bonus products, fresh items, and personal hygiene products at affordable prices. It also has a bills payment counter and a prepaid loading station for added convenience to shoppers. Alfamart stores are situated within neighborhoods and near public transport terminals for added accessibility to residents, tourists, small food retailers, and more as needed.

Today, Alfamart has already surpassed the 50-store mark, opening its first stores at the south of Manila; Cavite, Las Piñas, Imus, and Muntinlupa. And similar to the previously opened stores, the succeeding branches to be opened will also be located in high-traffic and very accessible areas where the demand for quick, easy, and friendly service is very much appreciated.

We are hiring for different roles in the Business Process department: 

Business Process Analyst 

  • Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Industrial) or equivalent.
  • At least 6 months to 1 year of working experience in process documentation and project management or in a related field. 
  • Provides enhanced operational support for the end-to-end process. 
  • Simplify, optimize, standardize and automate the existing processes Strengthen the integrity of inventory flow. 

Project Management Analyst 

  • Bachelor's/College Degree in Industrial Engineering, or related to Project Management or equivalent. 
  • At least 6 months to 1 year of working experienced specialized in Engineering - Industrial, process documentation and project management or equivalent.
  • Responsible for monitoring and evaluating the overall project planning and management.
  • Creates project documentation such as schedules, status reports, and minutes of the meeting.
  • Coordinates and collaborates with the project committee on the project status, progress, challenges, and resolutions.

Assistant Manager (Business Process)

  • Bachelor's/College Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
  • Must have at least 1-2years of working experience specializing in Engineering - Industrial, process documentation, and project management or equivalent.
  • Supports the efficient and effective operation of the organization's business processes.
  • Collaborates with various departments and stakeholders to analyze, document, and improve processes, as well as ensure that they align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Analyze processes to identify areas for improvement, increased efficiency, and reduced costs. 

Manager (Business Process)

  • Bachelor's/College Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent. 
  • Must have at least 2-3 years of working experience specializing in Engineering - Industrial, process documentation, and project management or equivalent. 
  • Responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and improving business processes within an organization to enhance efficiency, quality, and performance.
  • Lead change management initiatives to ensure successful implementation of process improvements.

Graphic Artist Intern

Internship Details:

Position: Graphic Artist Intern
Location: SM Retail Headquarters MOA Complex, Pasay City

Work Set-up: Onsite

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing graphics for various projects
  • Assist in the development of marketing materials, including social media graphics, and promotional content
  • Contribute creative ideas and solutions to enhance the overall design aesthetic
  • Work on projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality and consistent visual branding

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a graphic design program or in a relevant course. 
  • Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Has an understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Attention to detail
