Society Petroleum Engineers - Adamson Univeristy Student Chapter (SPE-AdUSC)

Society of Petroleum Engineers – Adamson University Student Chapter (SPE-AdUSC) traces its origins from the Adamson University Petroleum Engineering Students' Society (AUPESS), which was founded in 2018. Back then, a collection of students aimed to realize a goal to build an organization that would serve their fellow Petroleum Engineering students and build solidarity among the student society to be able to work together towards the betterment of their community. The members of the organization, together with the guidance of its organizational adviser, Engr. Jerry G. Olay, put effort to promote their cause by putting on events, holding workshops, and conducting awareness campaigns, together with  PetE students. Despite challenges, they never lost their zeal, and the organization's efforts led to a steady increase in its level of recognition over time.

AUPESS has been standing for almost four years from 2018 to 2022, and it has constantly exhibited a strong sense of passion and devotion, effectively aligning themselves with the core beliefs and objectives of its mother organization, the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE). The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) is a professional society that serves the needs of the oil and gas industry all over the world. It was founded in 1957, and since then, it has grown substantially to become the largest individual-member organization in the entire world. It currently has over 150,000 members in 143 nations. The major goal of SPE is to collect, disseminate, and trade technical knowledge involved with the exploration, development, and production of oil and gas resources. In addition, the organization makes available chances for its members' professional development and works to improve both their technical and professional skills.
