Vision

The College of Nursing, an integral component of Adamson University envisioned its graduates to be outstanding ADAMSONIAN & VINCENTIAN professional nurses with the following attributes: COMPETENT, CARING, DEDICATED, AND COMPASSIONATE and conscious of her social responsibility, who will institute a distinct contribution to the health care delivery system locally and globally.

Goals

Inspired by the mission and vision of the institution, the College of Nursing is committed to:

  1. Provide a broad educational experience designed to develop knowledge, attitudes, values and skills among students necessary in the giving of comprehensive nursing care especially in the context of Filipino life and culture.
     
  2. Create an educational climate which fosters mutual respect, integrity, intellectual inquiry, critical thinking, creativity and effective communication among faculty and students.
     
  3. Promote and support excellence in professional nursing through quality teaching and scholarly endeavors including the application of nursing theory in its practice.
     
  4. Provide each student an opportunity to grow and develop abilities and potentials to their optimum level in order to lead a full, productive and meaningful life inspired by Vincentian maxims.
     
  5. Provide opportunities for students to work cooperatively with other members of the health team and to appreciate the role of nurses in the delivery of health care to the individual, family and community.
     
  6. Instill sense of responsibility for effective participation in community outreach activities.
     
  7. Encourage graduates the need to pursue graduate studies and attend continuing professional education seminars for the purpose of professional growth and development.
