Course Description This course provides the study of geometry by means of the analytical methods of algebra. It will, therefore, provide the student an opportunity to discover how these two branches of mathematics are connected. Students will learn to express geometric figures and the facts about such figures in algebraic terms and how to obtain results from equations rather than from the figures themselves. It covers topic like equations of lines and conic section; curve tracing in both rectangular and polar coordinates in two dimensional spaces and its application. The use of graphing calculators and computer algebra systems is highly encouraged
