Primer for online enrolment for 2nd semester AY 2012-2013

SCHEDULE OF ENROLMENT

Subject enlistment can be done online on-campus (within Adamson University) or online off-campus (at home or other venues) for old students.

Enrolment schedule

* Block students are regular and irregular students qualified to take the regular subject load as prescribed in their curriculum for 2nd Semester, AY 2012-2013. They are automatically assigned to block sections by the system. Assigned block sections can be viewed in the online enrolment facility during the enrolment period. To be officially enrolled, they must pay the down payment within the prescribed dates. 

** Login to AdU LMS periodically to check on dissolved and newly opened subjects/sections. 

*** Petitioners must sign in the official petition form to make their enrolment official.


 

Notes:

A.  The online enrolment facility can be accessed for 24 hours on the scheduled dates.


B.  Students who forgot or have problems with their LMS password are advised to report to ITC Main Office at ST Ground Floor or call 524-2011 local 218 before the enrolment period.


C.  For a successful online enrolment, payment should be made within the prescribed dates; otherwise, online reservation will be cancelled. If this happens, the student may proceed to his/her college/department for advising.


D.  In case of non-offered, closed, conflicts, overload/simultaneous subjects, you may proceed to your respective department/college for advising and registration. Just bring and present your pre-advised subjects printed out from the Learning Management System (LMS).


E.  Reserved or enrolled subjects may be cancelled in your enrolment if it is officially dissolved due to insufficient number of enrollees. If this happens, you may proceed to your respective college or department for possible change of schedule or petition of subject. Dissolved subjects will be posted in the LMS.


F.  Engineering students who took Engineering Qualifying Examinations (EQE) must verify their results from the department. However, those who did not pass EQE must see their Dean before their scheduled enrolment period.


ONLINE ENROLMENT PROCEDURE:

 

1.   OPEN WEB BROWSER (The AdU website is best viewed with Mozilla Firefox.)

 

2.    LOGIN TO YOUR LMS ACCOUNT

·  Go to http://learn.adamson.edu.ph

·  Enter your 9-digit student number as username and password.

        For example:

        USERNAME: 201110001

        PASSWORD: adu

·  If you forgot your password, click “Forgot Password” and follow the instructions. Upon login, you will be required to change your password.

·  Once logged in, you may now access your account.

 

3.    SEMESTRAL GRADES and CURRICULUM CHECKLIST

·   Students can check their grades for the previous semester by clicking on “My Grades” found at the top of the page before proceeding to enrolment.

·   Students can view or print their curriculum checklist by clicking the drop down menu under the student name.

 

4.      SUBJECT ENLISTMENT

Subject enlistment is on a first come-first served basis.

Pre-advised subjects refer to the list of subjects advised to be taken by the students next term/semester.

·   Go to “Subject Enlistment.”

·   Click “Proceed to Subject Enlistment” button to start the process.

·   Click on a particular subject on the “Pre-Advised Subjects” to view the schedules/sections offered.

·   Choose the desired schedule. Click the other subjects on the “Pre-Advised Subjects” tab to add more subjects. Click on the particular subject if you wish to edit or delete.

·   After selecting all the desired subjects, click the “Save” button. Chosen subjects will be saved.

·   After completing the enlistment process, click “Print Reserved Subjects” to print temporary assessment from your computer.

·   Proceed to payment. Once payment is made and posted in your account, your reserved subjects will become officially enrolled.

 

5.     PAYMENT

After completing the subject enlistment, students may pay their tuition and other school fees in cash/check at the following payment centers:

·   Over the counter payment thru debit bills facility, internet banking and phone banking at BDO, PNB and Planters Bank branches nationwide.

·   Cashier’s Office, CS Building (Cash/check/credit/debit card)

Payment reminders:

·   Students should settle old accounts prior to enrolment.

 

·   A 5% discount in tuition fee is given to students in the following cases:

CASH PAYMENT – if tuition fees are paid in full during enrolment period

SIBLING – if two or more siblings are enrolled in the university (5% discount each). Students must apply for the discount.

ALUMNUS’ CHILD – if student/s is child/children of alumni of the university. The student must apply for the discount.

 

·   Tuition charges in case of cancellation of enrolment:

A. Before start of classes

                Freshmen/transferees: PhP500 and ID fee

                Old students: PhP500

           B. After start of classes

     A student who wishes to transfer or otherwise withdraw should properly apply for the cancellation of enrolment in writing at the Registrar’s Office within two (2) weeks after the beginning of classes.  

C. If a student has already paid the pertinent tuition and other fees in full, he/she may be charged:

·   Twenty-five percent (25%) of the total amount due for the term if he withdraws within the first week of classes, OR

·  Fifty percent (50%) if within the second week of classes, regardless of whether or not the student has actually attended classes.

 

6.      PRINTING OF OFFICIAL CERTIFICATE OF ENROLMENT

The Certificate of Enrolment, containing the list and schedules of subjects enrolled and the assessment of fees will be printed at home, at any computer rentals or at any computer laboratory in Adamson University during the enrolment period. However, the Official Certificate of Enrolment can be printed only at CL#16 or any designated laboratories. Second copy of the official certificate of enrolment can be requested at the Registrar’s office Course window upon payment of processing fee.
