Students got an early treat as a special mentor visited Adamson University to give tips on how to make it big as an entrepreneur.
Mark Comer, touted as “The Accidental Guru” via his entrepreneurial exploits, came to the University last June 16 to bring an installment of his highly-inspiring “Successful Entrepreneurship Tips from an Accidental Guru” to the students at the OZ Audio-Visual Room. Comer has had his share of business successes and failures, but never let the failures get in the way of achieving more successes. Instead he learned from these, and the wisdom he has gained from business is what he wants to share with youngsters to inspire them and be entrepreneurs themselves. “You are developing habits for the rest of your life,” says Comer, speaking of what it takes to be on top.
After his talk Comer shifted from business guru to guitar master as he gave a rock concert at the SV Hall.
His visit was made possible by SSVP-OSGP under the Office for Student Assistance and Scholarship together with Synergy Worldwide (Philippines). The AdU Chorale, Pep Squad and student band Himig also participated in the event.
