AdU Art Gallery Features Elements 2

Elements are not mere parts of a whole,
but parts without which there is no whole.

Artists who wish to find a venue for showcasing their masterpieces need not look far, thanks to the University’s Cultural Affairs Office which offers Adamson Art Gallery as an ideal venue for small exhibitions. Currently on show at the AdU Art Gallery is Elements 2: The Art and Craft of Alternative Photographic Print Processes, a photo exhibit of the works of seasoned Filipino photojournalists namely Allan Razo, Bengy Toda III, Lilen Uy, Manny Inumerable, Jojo Tatlonghari, Cristina Bustamante, Mar Bustamante, Susan Celso, and Catalino Celso Jr. The exhibit formally opened last June 25 and will be on view until July 31.

The featured photographers try to uncover the forgotten, but worth-reviving art of Platinum/Palladium printing, Gum Bichromate, Gold-toned prints, Gum over Platinum prints, and Pinhole Photography which old masters perfected centuries ago.
