College of Nursing

The College of Nursing offers a nursing program which includes training on how to asses a patient's medical condition, recognize and record symptoms, provide medications, start an intravenous infusion, work in conjunction with the doctor, and a variety of activities designed to enable the nursing students to have quality nursing education and to develop the student's skills in rendering quality nursing care to their patients.

The curriculum is built upon a foundation of biological, physical, and social sciences, which contribute to the science of nursing. The liberal arts components enhance the development of the intellectual, social, and cultural aspects of the nursing students.
