Themed Reaching Out: Touching Hearts, Transforming Lives, this year's General Assembly gathered academic and co-academic personnel to start the school year with clear and concrete plans and directions. During this event, newly appointed Academic and Co-Academic Administrators took their oath of office.
Fr. Gregg L. Bañaga, Jr., C.M., University President, delivered the presidential address and a report on the major directions of the Office of the President. Bro. Henry Escurel, C.M. (VP for Academics), Fr. Max Rendon, C.M. (VP Finance), Ms. Ana Liza Ragos (VP for Adminstration), and Atty. Julius Babista (representing Rev. Fr. Francisco Magnaye, C.M., new VP for Student Affairs) delivered inspirational messages and showed the past accomplishments of their respective offices.
An interesting highlight of the event was the presentation of the progress of the projects of the Integrated Community Extension Services (ICES) under Fr. Nonong Fajardo, C.M. In a touching show of gratitude, relocatees from Cabuyao, Laguna - beneficiaries of the efforts of the Vincentian Center for Social Responsibility (VCSR, a big project of the ICES) - came upstage to thank the Adamson community for its assistance.
The College of Sciences hosted this annual event held last June 10, 2008 at the Adamson University Theater.
