NCCA Official Conducts Music Lecture

The Cultural Affairs Office continues to nurture cultural awareness among the students. To deepen their appreciation for Filipino music, the office organized a lecture on “Music” last September 5, 2008 at the Adamson University Theater. The University invited Prof. Mauricia D. Borromeo, Vice Chair of the Committee on Music of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), to conduct a lecture. The three-hour event was attended by students, school administrators, faculty members, and employees who showed keen interest in the beauty of music. After the lecture, an open forum was held, moderated by the master of ceremony Anthony Rouben Valenzuela. The Adamson University Band, the AdU Acoustic Band, and the AdU Chorale also performed during the event. MJNermal
