The Alternative Classroom Learning Experience (ACLE) Workshop for Psychology students held every semester was conducted on September 25 where parallel sessions were also carried out. Students personally chose the session they wanted to be in. The topics presented in the workshop were relevant, useful, and not covered in regular classroom discussions.
This semester’s topics and facilitators were “Instant Healing without Fee and Pain” (Fr. Constancio Gan, C.M.), “Writing Therapy” (Mrs. Noemi Concepcion), “The Role of Communication in Psychology” (Ms. Rhodelia Manzon), “Graphology: An Introduction and its Application (Mr. Carl Pajarito), and “The Secret to Personal and Professional Success” (Mr. Ramon Rafael Quiroz).
The next ACLE is slated on February 2008. Everyone is again looking forward to a successful achievement of the goal of ACLE Workshop, which is to complement and supplement the classroom discussions with relevant topics through an alternative mode of teaching. This will eventually ensure effective learning among Psych students.
