An Audio-Visual Room (AVR) for the College of Architecture used to be just a dream. But with Dean Jean Cornejo's determination to translate the dream into reality, and the College's need to comply with the Commission on Higher Education's (CHED) requirement, the dream room is now available for use.
The construction of the AVR started in May 2008 and ended in July of the same year, in which month it was also blessed.
According to Arch. Cornejo, the new room will serve as venue for seminars, general assemblies, and conferences.
The SMART Room
Located at the second floor of the SV Building, just beside the Graduate School Dean's Office, the Smart Room is a room specially designed for the use of four faculty members currently taking up online Masters in Public Administration classes with De Paul University in Chicago on late Saturday evenings. The place is fully air-conditioned and can accommodate more than ten persons. It is equipped with computers and other technology necessary for the smooth conduct of online classes with the professors and classmates on the other side of the globe. Richard C. Dominguez
