Fr. Aldrin Suan, C.M., President of the Compañia Mercantil de San Vicente, Inc. (CMSVI), inaugurated the new BED canteen last June 8 in the presence of several school administrators led by Prof. Ana Liza Ragos, VP Administration, employees, the operator and staff of the new canteen.
Still housed on the ground level of a new four-storey building constructed on its previous location, the BED canteen now sports a fresh look. With a neat and airy space, it is equipped with a spacious state-of-the-art kitchen, 41 tables and a seating capacity of 128. It also has a faculty lounge that can seat 12 persons for a la carte dining.
The canteen serves delicious yet affordable meals along with students' favorite snack foods and beverages. It also accepts requests for catering services for special in-campus events.
Mr. Roberto Cunanan is the BED canteen operator while Ms. Geilyn Jubelag is the account assistant of the CMSVI who oversees the different canteens and their concessionaires in the university. The CMSVI is the entity that attends to the commercial concerns of the Congregation of the Mission.
