Joselito Torculas, BS in Electronics and Communication student, was 3rd Placer in the recently held 9th MSP-NCR Search for Math Wizard last February 28, 2009 at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila in Intramuros Manila.
Reaping the 1st place was Ramon Marfil of University of the Philippines-Diliman. 2nd Placer was Percival Byron Buseter of Pamantasa ng Lungsod ng Maynila. John Lester Morillo, a BS Chemical Engineerng student of AdU, also joined in the clash of math wizards. Torculas and Morillo were able to qualify as two of the 20 semifinalists, battling 60 participants. Ms. Jovy de la Rosa coached these two AdU engineering students.
