Emley Ambrocio, a 1987 BS Education graduate of the University, was given recognition for exceptional performance of her vocation as a High School teacher in Pedro E. Paez High School (PEDHS) in Alabang, Muntinlupa City. She was named 2008 Outstanding Teacher of Muntinlupa last December 2008.
“To be a teacher is to be a bearer of truth, a shining torch that shall help to lighten up the many roads of life, a reality that shall open our eyes, our hearts to be compassionate,” uttered Ambrocio
Ambrocio finished Master of Arts in Education, 2006, in Adamson University. Today, she is pursuing her doctoral degree also in AdU.
“We are all best. We are all superior in our own little way. Work hard for there is a reward waiting for us,” she told her School’s student organ Ang PEDHS Ngayon.
Ms. Emley received a Php10,000 prize for winning first place in the Outstanding Teacher awards. The Judges who deliberated on the contenders were accomplished educators themselves, namely Dr. Dominico C. Idanan, Marietta Barbera, Dr. Emiliana Alvarez, Dr. Consesa Faustina, Dr. Antonio Rocha, Wilson Pascual, Angelina Pascual, Dr. Celina Espina, Dr. Diosdado Medina, Dr. Francisca Pagkalinawan.
