The Center for Guidance, Counseling, Testing, and Placement Services of Adamson University has launched their refereed journal called The Helping Professional with its first issue released last month.
The Helping Professional was conceptualized to answer to the evolving challenges workers in the field of guidance services need. Published annually, it accepts contributions for empirical articles, book reviews and position papers throughout the year.
The topics covered in the journal range from developmental and training programs for students and professionals, using art as livelihood, and case studies of overseas Filipino workers’ (OFW) families.
Dr. Cleofe C. Palac RGC is the editor-in-chief of the journal while Dr. Angelina S. Miranda RGC serves as associate editor. Contributors can inquire about publication requirements or submit their articles to the editor at the Center’s office inside the University.
