The Office for Student Assistance and Scholarship (OSAS) is proud to announce a scholarship program from the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS), which aims to provide tuition and stipend to students of the University.
Under the scholarship program, GSIS members in good standing can join and winners of the scholarship program will be drawn via electronic draw. The winning GSIS member can nominate a family member or a friend who is either an incoming freshman or an enrolled upperclassman. GSIS will be providing Php20,000 for tuition and miscellaneous fees per semester and a monthly stipend of Php2,000.
OSAS Director Alice Quilicot is inviting all alumni, partners and friends of the University who are also active GSIS members to take part in this search and elect a scholar from AdU. Interested parties can get application forms at GSIS offices nationwide or download it from the GSIS website (http://www.gsis.gov.ph). They can also inquire with the Scholarships office or call GSIS at (02) 976-4970, 551-1878, or 891-6161 locals 4862 and 4863 and look for Emma, Amie, or Alex.
The application period ends on April 30, 2009. The electronic raffle will be held on May 7, 2009.
