Prof. Sergio J. Lee, chairperson of the Natural Sciences Department, was elected as member of the Board of Directors of the Biology Teachers Association, Inc. (BIOTA) last April 4, 2009 during the 44th Annual BIOTA National Convention and Scientific Sessions held at the University of Makati.
Prof. Eulalia Castillo, Prof. Joan Awingan, and Prof. Lyn Paraguison, all from the same department, attended the convention together with Prof. Lee. Prof Paraguison presented a workshop paper during the convention, entitled Scientific Art Innovation.
This year’s convention theme was Biologists in Bioresource Exploration and Conservation.
