The Integrated Community Extension Services (ICES) of Adamson University is mobilizing the entire university community, including alumni and industrial partners, to extend immediate assistance to the victims of typhoon “Ondoy” which brought heavy rains and flashfloods to Metro Manila and surrounding provinces last Saturday, September 26, 2009. The specific community to be assisted is the Northville 4-B, Marilao, Bulacan, a relocation community of former informal settlers from the PNR compound in Tondo, Manila.


Fr. Nonong Fajardo, C.M., ICES Director, is asking for donations in cash or in kind for this assistance drive. Immediately needed by the victims are: clothes, bottled water, canned goods and instant noodles, rice, medicines, blankets and “kulambo,” and candles.
