Nine graduates of the Customs Administration program, one of the youngest programs in the university, have made history in Adamson University as the first graduates to pass the customs brokers licensure exams given by the Professional Regulation Commission last October 2009. The nine alumni are among the 386 out of the 1,124 applicants who took the exams.
The new customs brokers are:
- Begontes, Maria Isabel
- Ceniza, Suzzane Marice
- Corpuz, Janet
- Dublin, Cherry Anne
- Gatan, Jocelyn
- Racelis, Raymundo
- Reyes, Renly
- Santos, Renz Patrick
- Tabang, Marnellie
The passers gave Adamson a 47% passing rate, well above the national passing rate 34%. The performance rating gives the university the distinction of being one of the top performing schools in the licensure exams.
Oath-taking will be held on December 8, 2009 at the Manila Hotel.
