Vincentian Family Gathers in Bangkok for Consys-Asia Oceania

Members from the different branches gather for the Vincentian Family Continental Formation on Systemic Change (FamVin CONSYS-ASIA OCEANIA) at Assumption University-Bangna Campus in Bangkok, Thailand from November 9 -14, 2009.


Seventy-three delegates from 15 countries representing 12 branches of the family were present for the formation program. The objectives of the gathering were to train Vincentian advisors and lay leaders and to promote systemic change.


FamVin CONSYS was spearheaded by Fr. Manuel Ginete, CM, Delegate of the Superior General to the VinFam and the International Commission for Systemic Change chaired by Fr. Robert Maloney, CM, former Superior General. Among the representatives from the Philippines were University President Fr. Gregorio L. Bañaga Jr., CM; Fr. Bievenido Disu, CM, Provincial Visitor and chairman of AdU Board of Trustees; and Ms. Pamela B. Mantuhac, OVIM Director.
