There’s a noble leader in each one of us, or so the play “Rizal is My President” tells us, and posits the question of what one can give to his country.
The Adamson University Theater recently presented the musical play last February 17 and 18 in partnership with the De La Salle University Harlequin Theatre Guild. The play is based on the book “Rizal is My President, 40 Leadership Tips from Jose Rizal” written by Mr. Napoleon Almonte.
Almonte gave an introductory talk before the start of the play. To give students the opportunity to ask questions, the emcee, Prof Alejandro Nueva, Jr., conducted an open forum right after the play ended.
The play is especially relevant at a time when Filipinos are once again given the opportunity to choose their leaders from a slew of candidates. RDA
