Because of its remarkable performance in the Chemical Engineer Licensure Exams of November 2009, the Professional Regulations Commission recognized Adamson University as 3rd Top Performing School in Category B (schools with 20 and above examinees). UPLB and UP Diliman were first and second respectively.
The award was given during the oath-taking ceremonies on December 17, 2009. It is the first time that the University received such an honor and Chemical Engineering is the first engineering program to have this kind of honor too. As of last count, there have been more than 20 topnotchers already in this program.
Sixty-seven percent of first takers from Adamson University hurdled the recent licensure exams.
