AdU research is best paper in regional conference

Adamson University extends its congratulations to the students and their professor who presented their paper in the 4th Regional Conference on Campus Sustainability held on April 6-7 at the Universiti Malaysia Sabah.

Adamson students Carmelita Magat, Dave Penamante, Joshua Reyes, Jake Tapat, and Engr. Crispin Lictaoa were awarded with the Best Paper for their research titled Bagasse as Partial Replacement to Wood Fibers in a Wood Plastic Composite Education Environment and Campus Satisfaction.

The regional conference is a collaboration between Adamson University, National Institute of Technology of Fukushima College (Japan), and the Universiti Malaysia Sabah.

Dr. Awangku Hassanal Bahar Pengiran Bagul, a member of the Faculty of Business, Economics, and Accountancy of the Universiti Malaysia Sabah, chaired the conference.

The conference focused on university and college activities, projects, and researches done on and off campus that lead to changes and promote sustainability. The theme was Campus and Sustainability: Leading the Change.

Participation in the conference is in line with Adamson's University's multiple thrusts in research and its partnerships with leading universities in the Asian Region.
