Adamson University is all set to host the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 76 which will kick off on June 29 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.   Adamson University has gone further in extending its helping hand when the university’s Integrated Community Extension Services (ICES) recently delivered relief goods, books, and equipment to Barangay Lambajon in Bagangga town, Davao Oriental.   Included in the relief and aid given were food such as canned goods, rice, and noodles; used clothing and blankets; books; and 10 computer units, which were donated to the Maryknoll School of Lambajon. A research project created by BS Electrical Engineering (EE) students of Adamson University became one of the top ten picks in the IdeaSpace Annual National Competition, which began in February and is scheduled to end in April.   WeGen, the students’ winning entry, is a wind turbine created with a design that makes it more efficient than current technology. The results of the licensure or board examinations for elementary and secondary teachers conducted by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) have been released and 50 Adamsonians passed the exams. The exam was conducted in March of this year.   As with previous board exams, Adamson University maintained its consistency in achieving passing rates well above the national passing rates.   The Falcon Football Club, composed of Adamson University’s international students, garnered third place in the group stage at the first ever Nuvali Super 16 Football Cup held on March 31, 2012 at Nuvali City in Sta.
