Another Adamsonian will be added to the university’s roster of board topnotchers after achieving the highest score in the November 2015 licensure examination for customs brokers.   Gladys Joy Obsum, who graduated from the BS Customs Administration program in March 2015, received a score of 90.75%, the highest in the exams and thus giving her first place. Adamson University has a new set of licensed professionals following the release of the results of the licensure exams for certified public accountants (CPA) held on October 2015. The exams were conducted by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).   Graduates of AdU’s BS Accountancy program achieved an overall passing rate of 37.88%, with 25 passers out of 66 total examinees.   Adamson University has earned a new set of registered electrical engineers (REEs) as 28 graduates of the BS Electrical Engineering program passed the licensure examination held on September 2015. The exam was conducted by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in several cities across the country.   The university’s overall passing rate of 66.67%, with 28 passers out of 42 examinees.   Adamson University’s Chemistry Department continued its good performance in the licensure examination for chemists as evidenced by its results in the September 2015 exams. The exam was conducted by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).   The BS Chemistry graduates achieved an overall passing rate of 68.18% with 15 Adamsonians passing the exam out of 22 total examinees. Football ruled the SV Gymnasium 2 once again on September 22, 2015 as the Office for University Relations (OUR) staged the second Presidential Football Cup.   Tigers FC successfully defended their title after winning over East Africa team in the championship match. Men’s Basketball end first round with a win The men’s basketball team began their campaign against the University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers on opening day, September 5 at the Araneta Coliseum. Despite finding themselves in a 22-5 disadvantage against UST at the end of the first quarter, the dribblers from San Marcelino were able to cut down the lead to two, 25-27 at halftime.
