  Studying at Adamson University will now be easier as freshman and transferee applicants for School Year (SY) 2015-2016 can now take the University Entrance Exam (UEE) for free.   Applicants only need to bring the required documents when applying for the UEE  and no longer have to pay the PhP400 examination fee. The Center for Guidance, Counseling, Testing, and Placement Services conducted its regular University Semestral Job Fair on September 18, 2014 at the ST Quad.   The University Semestral Job Fair was participated by more than 80 companies offering hundreds of job opportunities in various industries. Tigers FC, a team composed of students from Nigeria and Nepal, won the inaugural 2014 Presidential Football Cup held on September 23 at the SV Covered Gym. Tigers won over Força Lafaek in the championship match while Champs FC settled for third place. Força is composed of students from East Timor and Africa while Champs is composed of students from Nigeria and the Philippines. Players from Tigers FC also received most of the individual awards. Gregorio Bañaga Jr., CM participated in the investiture ceremony for Conrado “Bobby” Gempesaw, PhD, the 17th and first lay president of St. John’s University, which was held on October 27, 2014 at the university’s Carnesecca Arena in Queens, New York.   Fr. Adamson University has  another topnotcher this year after BS Mechanical Engineering graduate Joemar Ancheta scored 92.70%, the fifth highest score in the licensure exam conducted by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on October 7 and 8, 2014.   Ancheta and his fellow graduates also gave distinction to the school after the first-time takers posted a passing rate of 92.06%.
