Adamson University reiterates its stand against hazing, violence, and bullying in light of recent incidents reported in the media where young Filipinos have recently become victims of fraternity-related violence and various forms of bullying.   The university maintains a zero tolerance policy on unrecognized and illegal fraternities and sororities as well with fraternity or sorority-related violence such as hazing. Graduates of Adamson University’s BS Chemistry program have distinguished themselves in the September 2014 licensure exams for chemists by posting excellent passing rates, with one of them landing in the Top 10.   Jerome Nuyda placed eighth among the 10 highest scoring examinees after achieving 87% in the exam. A total of 23 graduates from Adamson University are now certified Registered Electrical Engineers (REE) after passing the September 2014 licensure exams conducted by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).   The first-time takers surpassed the national passing rate after 18 out of 27 examinees passed, notching a 66.67% passing rate.   Adamson University has a new set of licensed pharmacists after 17 graduates passed the licensure examinations conducted by the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) in June of this year.   The first-time takers did well in the exam, posting a 63.64% passing rate.
